Another hatemail:
Hell week.
Day after day you bastards griefed me. Day after day I sat in a belt in my Hulk listening to that infernal whine of the strip miner while I engaged in the most painfully boring activity in EVE and waited for you to come. But you wouldn't come. You laughed at me in my obvious bait hulk is obvious as I watched my 3 Warrior I's and 2 Warrior II's circle my exhumer. Days in Elonaya (some jackass made a thread) went by. A day in Tsuguwa (some list said this was a hot spot) resulted in a fascinating encounter with a can flipper (Flippageddon?) but no acts of violence. A few hours in Algogille, even smacking local and renaming my Hulk 'General Tso Tsucks' in honor of the local pirates, and nada. On to Jel (on that list again,) right next to Egghelende, for a day, surely they'd come to a 0.6 system? Nope.
Well, my only hope lay in Minmatar space. Off to Abudban.
Finally, on the 6th day, someone shot at my Hulk.
Thank-you, pirates of Minmatar.
tl;dr If you fit a decent tank on your Hulk you won't get shot unless you're in a <0.6 system or in Minmatar space. You don't have to tank the bear, just outtank the other guy.

??? Who posted a chatlog? I composed a 'hatemail' to all these Hulkageddon participants for griefing me for the last week by refusing to shoot at me and forcing me to mine.
Did anyone else read what I posted as a chatlog or is it only CCP employees who are that dumb?

Hmmm. I spoke too soon (I was praising Minmatar pirates for having the stones to engage.) Many more hours of mining in my hulk in Abudban and Osoggur (0.5, right next to Amamake) and no more gank attempts.
I'll be in Balle for the next few hours if you're interested.

Best to neither vilify nor idolize the military. They're basically just a young, testosterone-filled reflection of society. George W. Bush is a war criminal. Pat Tillman is a hero. Most of the rest are somewhere in between.
Anyway, the 'Searching for Pirates with Balls' Tour concludes in Oimmo today. I should be there pretty much continuously for the duration (unless I get popped first.)

That's quite a difference.
Agreed. Biggest problem with Hulkageddon is that the organizer has made the incentives all wrong. The focus should be on blowing up shinies, not gaming the system to win prizes. Make 30%ish of the prize pool noob-focused if you like, but most of the prizes and the GRAND PRIZE should go to the guy who's taking out Hulks. Or rename it Leechageddon.
